L'architecture islamique est comme l'une des pratiques d'architecture les plus réussies dans l'histoire de l'architecture du monde. Un exemple de cette architecture se trouve dans le sanctuaire de Fatima M à Qom, en Iran. Le Sanctuaire Fatima Masuma (la soeur de l'Imam Reza) est situé à Qom et il est couvert de tuiles exquises.
